From laboratory science to psychiatric care.
Robert’s healthcare career began in laboratory science. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, he worked as a Medical Technologist / Laboratory Scientist before later transitioning into nursing and psychiatric mental health care.
His background as a Medical Technologist / Laboratory Scientist, along with graduate study in forensic toxicology, built a strong foundation in laboratory medicine and clinical science. That scientific foundation informs how he approaches psychiatric evaluation: gather the full picture, examine contributing factors and avoid rushing to simple conclusions.
After migrating to the United States, Robert returned to school for nursing, earned his BSN from Keiser University in 2022 and completed his MSN at Walden University with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. He now provides care as a nationally board-certified PMHNP.
